Norma Flores – Founder
Norma Flores – Administrator in Education in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her passion for genealogy started at the age of 11 after she interviewed her great-grandmother Maria Menchaca and began documenting her family history. Co-founded the Hispanic Genealogical and Historical Society of Santa Clara County and co-authored, A Beginner’s Guide to Hispanic Genealogy. Her latest venture is Research Latino, an online, expert-driven crowdsourced genealogy service. Its purpose is to bring you closer to your family history with the help of our network of Genealogy experts.
Mike Menchaca
Mike Menchaca has been a full-time genealogist since 2010. He served as a genealogy instructor
at Santa Clara County Genealogical Society and has been offering genealogy lectures, workshops,
research and consultation for over 20 years.
